This is a University project, and I was tasked with creating an IDENT for a TV channel of my choice. I chose the Channel SYFY as I grew up watching the channel with my Father, and I wanted to create a Stargate Portal as I love Stargate.
I created this piece in Cinema 4D, which was the first time I have ever used 3D software. I found it really fun creating the stargate portal model. I did the stargate glowing portal within After Effects using different methods of turbulence displacement. I think the project turned out great for my first-ever 3D Project.
This is a personal project. I do not own the rights to Stargate, The SYFY Channel, or the sounds and music used in this project.
